Arnold Palmer Glass. | Megan Anthony
Pet(s): Arnold Palmer Glass
Nickname(s): Arnie, Stinky Bean, Doggy Bean, Arnie Bean, Garbanzo Bean
Type/breed/etc.: American Bulldog
Owner(s): Donnie Glass and Megan Anthony
Where and when did you get your pet? We adopted Arnie from a woman named Tracy who fostered Arnie's mom, Queenie, when she was pregnant. Tracy is an old friend of my husband and when Arnie was born she called him to announce that she had found him the perfect dog. She said, "he's happiest when he is at the bottom of the puppy pile."
What's your pet's favorite thing to eat? Peanut butter.
Does your pet have a neighborhood animal friend they like to play with? Dany and Pickles!
What is your pet's favorite thing about living in the East End? Other than his first few months at Tracy's home in Charlottesville, Arnie has lived in the East End his whole life. That's over seven years of waiting in line with me at Sub Rosa, getting treats at Liberty Public House, guarding my table at Union Market, and, of course, greeting customers at Grisette!
Got anything else Lookout readers should know about your pet? He loves our kids so much and the coolest thing as a human mom and as a dog mom is seeing them play together!
