Pets: Lucy and Misty
Type/breed/etc.: They are both Pit Bull mixes. Lucy is black and she is Labrador, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Pit Bull; Misty is brown and she is German Shepherd, Boxer, and Pit Bull.

Where and when did you get your pet? We have had Lucy (seven years old) since she was a foster puppy at 12 weeks—friends were fostering her. Misty was running around Hull Street Road, and my daughter picked her up and brought her to me. We called Richmond Animal Care and Control. They knew the owners but they never called back for her, so we kept her. She is three years old now
What's your pet's favorite thing to eat? Pizza Bones.
Does your pet have a neighborhood animal friend they like to play with? Lucy loves other dogs and plays with a bunch of them. Sadly her best friend moved to California. Misty's favorite other dog is Ralphie—he lives on the corner by Chimbarozo park. We think he is her "boyfriend."
What is your pet's favorite thing about living in the East End? Our dogs love going for long walks on the hill. They also love going to see live music at the Bellwether Garage, and meeting all kinds of people
Got anything else Lookout readers should know about your pet? Just be careful on the corners—make sure your pet stops and waits for you to say OK to cross, as people drive so fast around the corners.
