That’s right baby: it’s a clip show!

The Lookout logs off for the holiday weekend

The Lookout has been publishing every week since November 2024. I think? I may have skipped a couple along the way. But not many! Anyway, I’m taking a breather today, so instead of a normal edition, I’ve highlighting some of the reporting I’m most proud of from my first eight-ish months of neighborhood journalism. That’s right baby: it’s a clip show!

Before we get to all that sweet, sweet #content, I have one small request. The Lookout is juuuuuust about to break 500 subscribers—a big milestone! My fragile ego needs this. So if you’re feeling generous, forward this email to a friend and encourage them to sign up, or do likewise on your social media channel(s) of choice:

As a small token of my thanks for your support, here’s a teaser for a very silly item I’ll be publishing next week:

What could it mean?! | Dave Infante

Hopefully, that piques your interest. Prepare to be mildly amused but otherwise underwhelmed soon!

In the meantime, I hope you’re able to take some time off to clear your head and spend time with loved ones—in the neighborhood, or beyond it. If you don’t see this email until Monday, that means you done good.

Regular programming resumes next week. Here’s hoping for a nice breeze, beautiful fireworks, and zero tragic and pointless “falling bullet” deaths tonight. See you on the other side.—Dave.

✂️ And now, to the clips!
